The staff in our Contact Centre and Force Control Room are often seen as the unsung heroes, they are constantly busy playing a vital role in supporting victims and keeping the public safe. 🎧

This week we held our first Wellbeing Week for them. This was an opportunity to give a little back to the teams, as well as recognise and celebrate the continued hard work and dedication from the staff. 🎉

    In case you missed it…

This week, Detective Inspector Ant Preston (pictured) has been speaking to BBC Radio Surrey and BBC South discussing the work of Surrey’s Paedophile Online Investigation Team (POLIT).

Tackling online child sex abuse is a priority for the Force and during the radio interview DI Preston explains how “the key goal for us is to get the evidence indicating that there has been communication between suspects and children and making sure we get as much of that information as possible before the courts.”
