Yesterday, Surrey RoadSafe and the Casualty Reduction Officers (CRO) carried out a Roadside Enforcement Day around Waverley. Throughout the day they attended several different data led speed sites. Although visibility was better with less rain yesterday, they still found several drivers who would have struggled to see clearly due to dirty windscreens with no screen wash and even one with a wooden window!! The CROs stopped several drivers for speeding. One provided a positive drugs wipe and one was found to be disqualified from driving. They also stopped a vehicle for no tax and the driver of that vehicle also provided a positive drugs wipe.
