Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for past week. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries and vehicle thefts reported between the 14th August 2025 to 21st August 2025.
Please Note Do you recognise these items? (Photographs at the end of the report) The items were stolen from an address in Horley on Tuesday, 15 July. We are looking to locate them in order to reunite them with their rightful owner. If you recognise these items or have any information which could help us reunite them with their owner, please contact us via direct message quoting PR/45250086545. Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough. Records show that there have been 7 reports of Personal Fraud in the Borough during the last week. These include 3 reports of telephone scams (3 claiming to be from the Police and 1 from Specsavers), Ticket Fraud and Romance Fraud. If you receive a phone call claiming to be from the Police or the bank, please- Remember Your bank or the Police will never ask you for your PIN, bank card, or ask you to withdraw money or buy items on their behalf. Caution If you receive an unexpected call, hang up and use another phone to call back and confirm identity. Think How do I know they are who they say they are?
Burglaries North No reports this week
Central 16/08/2025 Between 12:40 to 21:00. Monks Walk, Reigate. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Not confirmed at this time. Stolen: Including Debit/Credit cards, cash, Wallets/Purse, Jewellery, Laptop and Play Station. (PR 45250101374)
