Witness Appeal

We are appealing for witnesses after a man was seen by members of the public with a knife in his hand, in Addlestone on Tuesday afternoon (10th May). 

We were called at around 4.45pm after receiving multiple reports of a man walking around Garfield Road and the surrounding area, whilst holding a knife. The man was safely detained within minutes of the arrival of officers and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article. There is no wider risk to the public.

Robert Beacock, 42, of Liberty Lane, Addlestone, has since been charged with the offence. He will appear at Staines Magistrates’ Court on the 30th May.
