Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for past week. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries and vehicle thefts reported between the 24th July 2025 to 31st July 2025.
Please Note Fraud Prevention
Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough. Records show that there have been three reports of Personal Fraud in the Borough during the last week. These included reports of a Computer Service fraud, a Rogue trader and a Telephone Fraud. Telephone Fraud - The victim received a telephone call claiming to be from Hammersmith Police. Please note that it would be very unusual to receive an unexpected telephone call from the Police. If the Police do telephone you, they will not ask for your bank details.
Burglaries North 25/07/2025 03:00. Wessels, Tadworth. Attempted Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Two suspects have attempted to enter through external doors to the property, by trying the handles. Stolen: Nothing taken. (PR 45250091393) 26/07/2025 03:00. The Glade, Kingswood. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Suspects have gained a forced entry through a French door, located on a balcony. Stolen: A number of watches. (PR 45250093019)
Central Between 26/07/2025 18:00 to 27/07/2025 04:30. Earlsbrook Road, Redhill. Attempted Residential Outbuilding Burglary. Method of Entry – Attempted forced entry through the shed window. Stolen: Nothing Taken. (PR 45250092516) Between 26/07/2025 17:30 to 27/07/2025 04:30. Earlsbrook Road, Redhill. Attempted Residential Outbuilding Burglary. Method of Entry – Attempted forced entry through the shed windows. Stolen: Nothing Taken. (PR 45250092529) 27/07/2025 13:43. Victoria Road, Redhill. Residential Outbuilding Burglary. Method of Entry – Entry through the shed door. Stolen: Not confirmed at this time. (PR 45250093768)
