Reigate and Banstead Police Safer Neighbourhood Team
Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for past week. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries and vehicle thefts reported between the 17th July 2025 to 24th July 2025.
Please Note Fraud Prevention Our Fraud Prevention Volunteers work alongside Surrey Police officers and staff to raise awareness and offer Fraud prevention advice, through giving talks in the community. In addition Fraud Prevention Volunteers will make contact with those impacted by Fraud. The next community event in our area is-
Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough. Records show that there have been two reports of Personal Fraud in the Borough during the last week. These included reports of an Investment Fraud and Computer Service fraud.
Burglaries North Between 17/07/2025 20:00 to 18/07/2025 06:32. Greenways, Walton on the Hill. Residential Burglary resulting in the theft of a car. Method of Entry – Two suspects have entered the property through the back door. Stolen: 3 sets of car keys and a car (Mercedes) PR 45250087441)
Central Between 23/07/2025 23:00 to 24/07/2025 07:00. West Street, Reigate. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the kitchen door. Stolen: Cash, Commemorative Coins, Pen, Champagne and Tennis racket/football (PR 45250090065)
South 21/07/2025 Between 05:00 to 06:00. Parkway, Horley. Attempted Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Attempted forced entry through the front door to the property. Stolen: Nothing Taken. (PR 45250088794)
