Welcome to the Police Update for past week. 

The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries and vehicle thefts reported between the 19th June 2025 to 26th June 2025.

    Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough.

    Records show that there have been a number of reports of Personal Fraud in the Borough during the last week.   These included reports of an Investment Fraud and a Recruitment Fraud. There was financial loss in both of these reported Frauds.

     

    In a new Home Office announcement, Gig-goers have been urged to be wary of scams when purchasing last-minute tickets on social media after Action Fraud reporting shows £1.6 million was lost to concert ticket fraud in 2024. Read more at:

    26/06/2025.  04:17.  Winkworth Road, Banstead. Residential Outbuilding Burglary.  Method of Entry – Three suspects gained forced entry through the shed door. 

    Stolen: E-Bicycle.     (PR 45250076922)

     

    Central

    Between 01/11/2024 00:01 to 24/06/2025 12:38.   Mansfield Drive, Merstham.  Residential Burglary resulting in the theft of a vehicle.  Method of Entry – It is believed that the car keys have been accessed through the letterbox in the front door.

    24/06/2025 Between 22:27 to 22:40.  Redstone Hill, Redhill.  Residential Garage Burglary.  Method of Entry – Forced entry through the garage door.

    Stolen: Mountain Bicycle.     (PR 45250076479)

    24/06/2025 02:45.   The Moors, Redhill.  Attempted Residential Garage Burglary.  Method of Entry – Suspects attempted to enter through the garage doors in a communal parking area.

    Stolen: Nothing Taken.     (PR 45250076903)

    25/06/2025 Between 23:00 to 23:30.  Crossland Road, Redhill.  Attempted Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Attempted entry through a window.

    Stolen: Nothing Taken.     (PR 45250077572)

    19/06/2025 11:20 to 19/06/2025 18:45.  Tanyard Way, Horley.  Attempted Residential Outbuilding Burglary.  Method of Entry – Attempted forced entry through front door.

    Stolen: Nothing taken.     (PR 45250073892)
