The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries and vehicle thefts reported between the 17th April 2025 to 24th April 2025.

Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough.

Records show that the types of Personal Fraud in the Borough during the last week included a report of a QR (Quick Response) code scam.  Victim scanned a QR code, which was fake and an attempt was made to take money out of the Victim’s account. The transaction was stopped by the Bank. Please be aware of fake QR codes.

Burglaries

North

17/04/2025 23:45.   Rectory Lane, Banstead. Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Forced entry through the front door.

Stolen: Not confirmed at this time.    (PR 45250045750)

23/04/2025 04:35.   Green Lane, Lower Kingswood. Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Forced entry through a ground floor window. The suspects left the premises when disturbed by the occupant.

Stolen: Not confirmed at this time.    (PR 45250047847)
