Many bikes are stolen at home, mainly from sheds and garages. You should take the same care to lock your bike securely at home as you would on the street.

NOTE: Sat 22nd March 1400-1600 MV SNT will be doing a crime prevention stand with free bike marking and bike registering Event in Meadowbank Dorking.

#SPCasualtyReduction Officer carrying out speed enforcement in Dorking earlier stopped: - one driver travelling at 46mph in the 30 limit to get to golf, TOR issued.

- one driver with a very damaged windscreen, they were advised not to drive, but the officer had to quickly leave them to deal with...

- a vehicle that was emitting a very strong smell of cannabis. When stopped, the driver quickly left their vehicle to speak to the officer. However, they provided a positive #DrugWipe and were found in possession of cannabis, so were arrested.

Wanting to grab online holiday deals before they’re gone always seems a great idea, however if a deal looks too good to be true, hold off on packing your suitcase and add these essential items to your holiday checklist:

✅Is the travel company is legitimate? Do some research first to check, especially if you haven’t used them before.

🕵Look out for ABTA, ABTOT or ATOL logos on the company’s website.

💳Try to use a credit card to pay (if you have one) as many of these protect online purchases as part of the Consumer Credit Act.

💻Watch out for suspicious links: whether it’s in an email or social media post, be wary of promotions for unbelievably good holiday offers. If you receive a suspicious email, report it by forwarding it to: report@phishing.gov.uk

💔Don’t have your heart broken by a scammer…

Think you know how to spot a scam? Fraud is getting more sophisticated.

Only buy tickets from the venue’s box office, the promoter, an official agent or a well-known and reputable ticket exchange site.
