We have been seeing a rise in bike thefts across East Surrey.

Don’t ‘take two’ when it comes to your bike’s security – get it right first time to help protect your bike from theft. To keep your bike safe, think:

Lights: Lock your bike at well-lit secure cycle parking.

Camera: Lock (again) your bike at secure cycle parking that’s covered by CCTV.

Action: Double lock your bike using two different types of lock, if possible.

Extended edition: Get your bike security marked and register it. This helps to deter thieves, and makes it more likely the owner can be traced, should the bike be stolen.
