We are appealing for witnesses and information following a residential burglary in Virginia Water. The burglary is believed to have been carried out at approximately 6.30pm on Thursday, 13 February at a home on Trumps Green Road. Fortunately, nothing is believed to have been taken, but over £2500 worth of damage was caused. At the time of the offence, three suspects were seen to be acting suspiciously around the area by ducking down trying to avoid the neighbours CCTV cameras. The three suspects are described as males of a slim build, in their late teens/early 20's, dressed in all black with black face coverings. Officers are currently conducting extensive house to house enquiries, but we would like to hear from you if you were in the area at the time. We are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Egham. Shortly before 9pm on Sunday, 16 February, officers from Thames Valley Police attempted to engage with the driver and passenger of a blue Mercedes on Arthur Road in Windsor, and the driver made off. Shortly afterwards the vehicle was spotted on the outskirts of Windsor, where it failed to stop for police. A pursuit was initiated, and officers followed the Mercedes for about three minutes before they lost sight of it. On rounding a bend on Windsor Road (A308) shortly past the Magna Carta travelling southbound, officers found that the driver of the Mercedes had collided with the driver of a grey Volkswagen that had been travelling in the northbound carriageway. Officers from both Thames Valley Police and Surrey Police attended the scene, along with South East Coast Ambulance Service. Windsor Road was closed for several hours to allow officers to carry out initial enquiries but has now fully reopened. Three people from the two vehicles were taken to hospital. A man has since been discharged. A woman is undergoing treatment for serious injuries. A man in his 30s has been arrested for dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs, driving without insurance, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and causing serious injury by driving whilst disqualified. He remains in hospital undergoing treatment. We are now looking to speak to anyone who might have witnessed any part of this incident.
