Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for the last week. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries and vehicle thefts reported between the 23rd January 2025 to 30th January 2025.
Please Note Meet the Beat in Banstead Join us for Meet the Beat at Banstead Community Centre, The Horseshoe, Banstead SM7 2BQ on Tuesday 4th February between 10.30am and 12.30pm - your chance to meet the local Officers and to discuss crime prevention and raise any concerns.
Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough. There were 3 reports of Fraud in the last week. These included a Job Application scam, a Telephone call claiming to be from Virgin Media and Sky and an Investment Opportunity posted on Social Media. Please do report Personal Fraud - Scams.
Burglaries North Between 18/01/2025 13:00 to 25/01/2025 18:05. Rickman Hill Road, Chipstead. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through a first floor Balcony door. Stolen: Not confirmed at this time. (PR 45250010097)
Central 24/01/2025 19:40. Kingsley Grove, Reigate. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Three Suspects have forced their way through the rear back door to the property. Stolen: Not confirmed at this time but including Jewellery and a Watch (PR 45250010142)
