Dear Residents,

Welcome to the Police Update for the last two weeks. 

The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries and vehicle thefts reported between the 19th December 2024 to 02nd January 2025.

    Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough.

    There was 1 report of Fraud in the last two weeks. Doorstep Fraud – 2 suspects going door to door collecting money in the Borough, supposedly, for charity.

    Burglaries

    North

    Between 18/12/2024  05:00 to 21/12/2024 09:00.   Roundwood Way, Banstead. Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Forced entry has been gained through the kitchen door, located at the rear of the property.

    Stolen: Not confirmed at this time.      (PR 45240146842)

    19/12/2024 Between 18:30 to 19:30.   Nork Way, Banstead. Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Suspect(s) have gained access through the Patio door located at the rear of the property.

    Stolen: Jewellery, Watch, Handbag and a Belt.      (PR 45240146480)

    21/12/2024 Between 04:40 to 04:45.  Buff Avenue, Banstead. Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Two Suspects have gained a forced entry through the front door of the property. They have left after being disturbed by an occupant at the property.

    Stolen: Car Keys.      (PR 45240146788)

    22/12/2024 Between 17:20 to 17:29.  The Glade, Kingswood.  Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Forced entry has been gained through the front door of the property.

    Stolen: Not confirmed at this time but including Jewellery and Watches.   (PR 45240147368).  

    28/12/2024 18:30.   Downs Wood, Epsom Downs. Attempted Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Attempted forced entry through a window to the property.

    Stolen: Nothing Taken.      (PR 45240149390)

    01/01/2025  02:20.   Heather Close, Kingswood. Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Forced entry through the first-floor bedroom window.

    Stolen: Not confirmed at this time.     (PR 45250000114)

     

    Central

    02/01/2025 05:00.   Nailsworth Crescent, Merstham . Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Forced entry has been gained through a door to the property.

    Stolen: Not confirmed at this time.      (PR 45250000376)

     

    South

    21/12/2024  Between 17:30 to 20:30.   Benhams Drive, Horley.  Attempted Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Attempted forced entry through a door to the property.

    Stolen: Nothing Taken.      (PR 45240147249)

    Vehicle  Thefts -      Keyless Car (vehicle) Theft 0,  Attempted Keyless Car theft 0,  Car Theft 0, Vehicle theft and motorcycle theft 1 , have been reported in the two last weeks.

    Epsom Downs, Oatfield Road.  31/12/2024 Between 02:00 to 05:00   Motor Cycle Theft.    Suzuki.   (PR  45240149959)
