Welcome to the Police Update for the week. 

The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries and vehicle thefts reported between the 5th December 2024 to 12th December 2024.

Seasonal Burglary Advice

  • Don't advertise to thieves what you have in your home.
  • Don't have your presents visible from the outside of your home.
  • Don't store presents in sheds/outbuildings.
  • Don't leave discarded present boxes outside and in view and peel off any addresses and names from the boxes. 
  • Property mark and register your new gifts.
  • Don’t leave delivered parcels outside your property.

    Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough.

    There were 3 reports of Fraud in the last week. These included an attempted telephone Bank fraud, Financial Abuse and a Social Media Fraud.

    North

    06/12/2024 Between 14:35 to 18:30.  Forest Drive, Kingswood.  Residential Burglary    Method of Entry – A forced entry through the back door to the property

    Stolen:   Jewellery, Watches and a Laptop Computer.      (PR 45240140836)

    05/12/2024 Between 22:00 to 23:00.  Rectory Road, Chipstead.  Residential Garage Burglary.  Method of Entry – Forced entry through the garage door.

    Stolen: Nothing reported as taken.      (PR 45240140937)

     

    Central

    Between 05/12/2024 16:20 to 06/12/2024 07:00.    Garlands Road, Redhill. Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Forced entry through the back door to the property.

    Stolen: Not confirmed at this time.      (PR 45240140636)

    No reports this week.

     Vehicle  Thefts -       Keyless Car (vehicle) Theft 1,  Attempted Keyless Car theft 0,  Car Theft 0, Vehicle theft  and motorcycle theft 0 , have been reported in the last week.
