We will be escorting demolition equipment through Leatherhead tomorrow. The equipment requires a police escort due to bridges restricting its route. Once it safely left Leatherhead the police escort will no longer be required. On Sunday 8 December the equipment will be escorted by Surrey Police from a building site on Bridge Street, Leatherhead at around 7.45am. It will travel along Bridge Street and North Street before entering Bull Hill and Kingston Road against the normal flow of the one-way system. This section of the one-way system will be closed to all vehicle traffic during this movement. Whilst traffic disruption will be kept to a minimum, please be aware if your journey covers any part of this route and leave extra time to travel where possible. |
