Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for the week. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries and vehicle thefts reported between the 14th November 2024 to 21st November 2024. Please Note
Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough. There were 5 reports of Fraud in the last week including; Telephone/Courier Fraud (due to Bank protocol no financial loss financial reported), Doorstep Fraud (Rogue Trader resulting in financial loss), Romance Fraud (resulting in financial loss).
Burglaries North 14/11/2024 17:47. Forest Drive, Kingswood. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through a first-floor bedroom window, located at the rear of the property. Stolen: Not confirmed at this time but including Jewellery and Watches. (PR 45240131462) 17/11/2024 Between 01:00 to 06:00. Kingswood Road, Tadworth. Residential Burglary resulting in the theft of a Vehicle. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the back door to the property. Stolen: Car Keys, Car (Audi) and cash. The vehicle has been recovered. (PR 45240132452) 18/11/2024 Between 04:00 to 04:15 Manor Way, Banstead. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through a window located at the front of the property Stolen: Two handbags. (PR 45240132702) 19/11/2024 Between 01:15 to 01:30. Pine Walk, Banstead. Attempted Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Two suspects have made a forced entry into the shed located on the property and then proceeded to attempt to enter the main property through the patio doors. Stolen: Nothing taken. (PR 45240133165) Between 15/11/2024 to 18/11/2024. Water Mead, Chipstead. Attempted Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Attempted forced entry through the backdoor of the property. Stolen: Nothing taken. (PR 45240134172)
Central Between 14/11/2024 12:30 to 18/11/2024 16:00. London Road, Reigate. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Suspect(s) have entered the secure communal area of the building. Stolen: Parcel containing shoes. (PR 45240132947) Between 17/11/2024 13:23 to 17/11/2024 16:00. London Road, Reigate. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Suspect(s) have entered the secure communal area of the building. Stolen: Parcel. (PR 45240133057)
