Dear resident,
Have you got a pressing policing matter which you'd like answers to? Perhaps you have received some help from local officers, and you'd like to offer some praise? Well then make sure you book your spot and the upcoming Policing Your Community event for residents of Elmbridge.
Taking place on Monday, 18 November, the event will be held at Imber Court Sports Club in East Molesey from 6:30 to 8pm. Borough Commander for Elmbridge, Lucy Marriott, will be joined by Surrey Police's Chief Constable Tim De Meyer, and Police and Crime Commissioner Lisa Townsend.
The trio will look to provide an update on policing in the community and across the county, and be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
Chief Constable Tim De Meyer said: “Surrey Police is determined to fight crime and protect people, to be there when we are needed and to earn public trust.
“These events enable me to listen to the people of Surrey and understand if we are achieving what we aim to do. It was a pleasure to meet so many people last year and learn about the concerns relating to crime and policing in their neighbourhoods.
“The feedback we received is reflected in the local policing plans which address the things that matter most in our communities.
“I am really looking forward to joining the Police & Crime Commissioner on these visits to listen and talk to people in the areas where they live and work.”
This is your opportunity to ask those all-important questions, so make sure you book your spot now!
