Residential Burglary and other Crime Report

30th October to 11th November 2024

Dear Surrey Heath Residents

Please find below details of the currently reported burglaries (or attempted burglaries) to residential properties (including shed break-ins) as well as other crime statistics over the past two weeks 30/10/24 to 11/11/24 Summary details of these are provided below.

 

BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY BURGLARY – 2

45240127642 The Square, BAGSHOT – attempt burglary of premises.  Occurred on 6/11/24 at 0058hrs.

45240127652 Doman Road, CAMBERLEY – attempted burglary of warehouse.  Occurred between 29/10/24 00:00hrs and 05/11/24 10:53hrs.

 

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 10 (To provide reassurance there is a dedicated burglary SPOC at Surrey Heath working with North Surrey, Hampshire and Thames Valley Police to identify the criminal gangs committing these offences)

4524012536 Birchfields, CAMBERLEY – entry gained via patio window nothing stolen. Occurred on 31/10/24 at 18:00hrs.

45240125797 Diamond Ridge, CAMBERLEY – entry gained via glass kitchen door, untidy search and items stolen.  Occurred on 01/11/24 at 19:00hrs.

45240126301 Drake Avenue, MYTCHETT – entry gained via back door, untidy search and muddy footprints and glove marks left. Occurred on 2/11/24 at 19:00hrs.

45240126741 Upper Verran Road, CAMBERLEY – entry gained via rear garden door, untidy search and items stolen.  Occurred on 03/11/24 at 18:45hrs.

45240127342 High Beeches, FRIMLEY – Entry gained via rear door and an untidy search conducted and personal items stolen.  Occurred between 03/11/24 12:00hrs and 05/11/24 09:45hrs.

45240127567 Larchwood Glade, CAMBERLEY – Entry gained via rear door and disturbed residents, nothing stolen.  Occurred on 05/11/24 at 18:25hrs.

45240128201 Red Lion Road, CHOBHAM – Entry gained via garage and property stolen from garage.  Occurred on 6/11/24 between 23:17hrs and 23:32hrs.

45240129059 Guildford Road, LIGHTWATER – Entry gained via rear patio door and untidy search conducted and items stolen.  Occurred on 08/11/24 at 17:20hrs.

45240129446 Gibbet Lane, CAMBERLEY – Entry gained via rear ground floor window and untidy search conducted.  Cash and personal items stolen. Bleach used on surfaces.  Occurred 0n 18/11/24 at 20:30hrs.

4524019605 Mytchett Road, MYTCHETT – attempted burglary via front door. Occurred on 11/11/24 at 02:00hrs.

Some simple tips to keep your property more secure: 

  • Consider planting thorny bushes around the parameter of your properties particular the back garden parameter. 

  • Leave interior lights on when away from the property both at front and rear of the property. Leave TV/radio on.

  • Don’t leave ladders, bins or other items that can allow access to first floor windows.

  • Do tell neighbours if you will be away from the property overnight.

    45240128955 London Road, CAMBERLEY – theft of motor vehicle (Mercedes).  Occurred between 06/11/24 17:30hrs and 07/11/24 08:30hrs. 

     

    Theft from Motor Vehicle – 2

    45240125275 London Road, BAGSHOT – theft of tools from vehicle. Occurred on 31/10/24 between 19:00hrs and 19:45hrs.

    45240126081 Station Road, FRIMLEY – vehicle interferenceOccurred on 31/10/24 at 02:25hrs.

    Do not give your bank details or transfer money online unless you have taken due diligence to ensure they are a legitimate organisation, if in doubt DO NOT send money.  Please remind your members to report to the police any sextortion and DO NOT send money to blackmailers.
