Rogue traders are criminals who pose as professional tradespeople, but their real aim is to con people out of their hard-earned money and can have a huge financial impact. Shockingly since 1st January of this year, we have received over 100 reports of doorstep crime, equating to an average loss of nearly £10,000 per person. We are working with our partners including Trading Standards, Woking Borough Council and Crimestoppers to target these criminals and reach those who may be potential victims. A key part of prevention is knowing what to look out for, so why not join our educational webinar with Trading Standards on Tuesday 24 September from 1-2pm.
