Crime in Woking over last week

This week’s regular crime report from Surrey Police for the Woking area is below.

During this period the following might be of be interest. Did you see anything suspicious?

 

Theft. Commercial Way (outside Gails). Saturday 20 July 13.55-17:00. 45240082674. Ladies purple bike stolen, lock had been severed by suspect.

 

Keyless Vehicle Theft. Rectory Lane, Byfleet.  Sunday 21 July 07:30. 45240082770. Black Yahama Motorbike stolen.

 

Vehicle crime. Byfleet. Wednesday 24 July 19:00 – Thursday 25 July 08:40. 45240084764. Silver Ford Focus rear windscreen smashed.  

 

Recently there have been receiving numerous reports of begging involving a male suspect described as being in his 70s, with a stocky build, grey hair and a grey beard. In some cases, it has been reported that the beggar has become aggressive while asking for money.   These reports have predominantly come in from Knaphill and St. Johns.

If someone does become aggressive when asking for money, please call 999.   When making a report regarding this issue, you can quote the reference 45230100562 so that it can be brought to attention of the officer monitoring the situation.
