Whilst conducting licensing checks at the Rose & Crown in Thorpe, PC Trail and PC Fergusson-Powell were approached by a 4-year-old birthday girl and her dad. The dad explained that all she wanted for her birthday was to see a police car. The birthday girl was shown the police car and the officers kit, and even got to put the lights and sirens on in the car. The children asked lots of questions about the kit we carry, and we described that we use it to catch the bad guys! All the other children thoroughly enjoyed their interaction, and the adults were thrilled that the birthday girl got what she wished for!
