Residential Burglary and other Crime Report

10th to 23rd June 2024

Dear Surrey Heath Residents

Please find below details of the currently reported burglaries (or attempted burglaries) to residential properties (including shed break-ins) as well as other crime statistics over the past two weeks 10/06/24 to 23/06/24 Summary details of these are provided below.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 4

Orchard Hill, WINDLESHAM – entry gained via rear door and an untidy search has taken place and jewellery and cash stolen.  Occurred on 10/06/24 between 22:50hrs and 23:45hrs.

Ashwell Avenue, CAMBERLEY – attempted burglary of a house where a window was broken. Occurred between 19/06/24 23:40hrs and 20/06/24 00:01hrs.

Coleford Bridge Road, MYTCHETT – attempted burglary of a house where a glass door has been smashed.  Occurred on 21/06/24 at 22:30hrs.

Hall Close, CAMBERLEY – entry gained via first floor window, not known if anything was taken.   Occurred on 22/06/26 at 00:30hrs.

Theft from Motor Vehicle - 1

Verran Road, CAMBERLEY – theft of number plates from vehicle – occurred between 11/06/24 20:00hrs and 12/06/24 08:00hrs.

Theft of Motor Vehicle – 3

Curtis Close, CAMBERLEY – theft of vehicle (Porsche) overnight – occurred between 13/06/24 22:30hrs and 14/06/24 07:15hrs.

Garden Drive, CHOBHAM – attempt theft of motorbike – occurred on 11/06/24 at 20:59hrs.

Martel Close, CAMBERLEY – theft of vehicle (Porsche) overnight.  Occurred between 13/06/24 22:10hrs and 14/06/24 06:45hrs.

To provide a further idea of the criminal activities of the Surrey Heath Police neighbourhood and response teams in the past two weeks, there were 237 new incidents/occurrences being investigated during this period. A summary of relevant incidents by crime type is given below.

Dangerous Dogs – 1

Drink spiking - 1

Drugs – 5

Fraud - 1

Harassment – 8

Hate crime/incident – 2

Knife/Blade Possession - 1

Prescribed Limited Offences (drink/drug driving) - 3

Public Order – 20

Robbery - 1

Sexual offences - 6

Stalking – 0

Theft (including shopping lifting) – 21
