Welcome to the Police Update for the last two weeks.

The message includes burglaries and keyless car thefts reported between the 18th  January 2024 to 1st  February 2024.

Romance Fraud

Being scammed can be a harrowing experience that can have a long-lasting impact on wellbeing.  Many romance scams never get reported because of the victim's embarrassment but it is important to remember that these scammers target a number of people and have been doing it for years. 

 Details:  Free webinar on Tuesday 6 February at 10am, focusing on how to spot and stop a scam, including essential information on how to stay safe when online dating.

This is free for anyone to attend regardless of where they live.

18/01/2024  Between 14:15 to 22:55    Epsom Lane North, Epsom.     Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Forced entry through a second floor bedroom window, located at the rear of the property.

Stolen: A number of items of Jewellery.   (PR 45240006882)

Between 18/01/2024 09:55 to 19/01/2024 22:41    Bunbury Way, Epsom.     Attempted Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Attempted forced entry through a door to the property.

Stolen: Nothing taken.   (PR 45240007382)

20/01/2024  12:27    Epsom Lane North, Epsom.     Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Entry has been gained through the rear dining room door.

Stolen: Nothing Taken.   (PR 45240008075)

Between 22/01/2024 18:00 to 23/01/2024 07:00    Great Tattenhams, Epsom Downs.     Residential Garage Burglary.  Method of Entry – Entry has been gained through the side door of the garage.

Stolen: Motocross Motorcycle.   (PR 45240008670)

26/01/2024  21:30    Kenilworth Close, Banstead.     Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Forced entry through the patio doors.

Stolen: Cash.   (PR 45240009688)

Between 26/01/2024 16:00 to 27/01/2024 11:00    Greenhayes Avenue, Banstead.     Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Entry has been gained through the patio doors.

Stolen: Cash.   (PR 45240010282)

28/01/2024   Time not confirmed    Long Walk, Epsom Downs.     Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Not confirmed at this time.

22/01/2024  13:45    South Mead, Redhill.     Attempted Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Suspect has attempted to gain access to the property.

Stolen: Nothing Taken.    (PR 45240008972)

26/01/2024  Between 02:05 to 02:35    Queensway, Redhill.     Attempted Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Suspects have gained forced entry into a communal area.

31/01/2024  06:30    Lonesome Lane, Reigate.     Residential Outbuilding Burglary.  Method of Entry – Access has been gained through the shed door.

Stolen: Hedge Trimmer.   (PR 45240011734)

Between 22/01/2024 21:00 to 23/01/2024 07:00     Raymer Walk, Horley.     Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Forced entry through the rear patio door.

Stolen: Not confirmed at this time but including a Television.   (PR 45240008910)

Between 22/01/2024 00:00 to 24/01/2024 00:00    Blacksmith Road, Horley.     Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Access has been gained through the front door.

Stolen: Not confirmed at this time.   (PR 45240009020)

27/01/2024  16:00    Limes Avenue, Horley.     Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Not confirmed at this time.

Stolen: Laptop.   (PR 45240010440)
