30th October to 5th November 2023

 

Dear Surrey Heath Residents

Please find below details of the currently reported burglaries (or attempted burglaries) to residential properties (including shed break-ins) as well as other crime statistics over the past week 30th October to 5th November 2023. Summary details of these are provided in the list below.

Please note, where known I have used the approximate actual incident date/times rather than date the incident was reported (as there can be differences).

There were 4 residential burglaries during this period

Kenton Close, FRIMLEY – entry gained via conservatory door at the rear of the property and various personal items and cash have been stolen. Occurred on 01/11/23 between 18:50 and 21:10hrs.

Ambleside Close, MYTCHETT – entry gained via the glass UPVC rear door and cash had been stolen. Occurred between on 04/11/23 between 13:40 and 23:25hrs.

Mytchett Road, MYTCHETT – attempted burglary but were disturbed occurred around midnight on 5/11/23.

Milden Gardens, CAMBERLEY – attempted burglary – outdoor security lights cut off and missing and back gate open.  Occurred between 4/11 21:00 and 07:30 hrs on 5/11.

There were 9 Theft from Motor Vehicles

Swordsman Road, DEEPCUT – attempted theft of tools from van by a group of suspects this occurred around 23:30hrs on 4/11/23.

Mytchett Road, MYTCHETT – attempted theft of tools from van by a group of suspects this occurred around midnight on 5/11/23.

Wittmead Road, MYTCHETT – damage to van, smashed windscreen, occurred at 20:00hrs on 4/11/23.

Tomlins Ave, FRIMLEY – theft of number plates from motor vehicle – occurred between 22/10/23 and 01/11/23.

2 x Portsmouth Road, CAMBERLEY – theft of tools from parked vans, causing significant damage to vehicles – occurred on 31/10/23 between 17:00 and 21:25 hrs.

MacDonald Road, LIGHTWATER – theft of tools from van – occurred on 4/11/23 between 07:15 and 07:21 hrs.

Blackdown Road, DEEPCUT – theft of tools from van – occurred on 5/11/23 between 11:25 and 00:01 hrs.

Canada Road, DEEPCUT – theft of tools from van – occurred between 4/11 23:30 and 5/11/ 00:30 hrs.

PLEASE NOTE THERE IS AN INCREASE IN THEFTS OF TOOLS FROM VANS, PLEASE SECURE YOUR VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT APPROPRIATELY

To provide a further idea of the activities of the Surrey Heath Police team in the past week, there were 129 new incidents/occurrences being investigated during this period. A summary of relevant incidents by crime type is given below.

Criminal Damage – 5

Prescribed Limited Offences (drink/drug driving) - 2

Public Order – 4

Theft (including shopping lifting) – 16
