Two brothers have yesterday (16 November) been sentenced to a combined eight years in prison, after pleading guilty to a number of drug offences in the Sunbury-On-Thames area. Benjamin Little, born 02/02/1997, and Matthew Little, born 13/08/1994, were sentenced for: Benjamin Little received a four-year prison sentence and Matthew Little was given a four year and three month prison sentence. The illegal activities of the brothers first came to attention after officers became aware that they were hiding drugs in the gardens of their neighbours. Upon searching the location, officers found a black zip bag hidden under grass near a drainpipe. The bag was discovered to contain class A drugs. After building up a detailed picture of their criminal enterprise, a warrant was executed at their address on 6th of September and phones containing messages organising drug supply, were also found. Investigating Officer, PC Jacob Robertson, said; “The Little brothers had no regard for the negative affect their drug-dealing had on the local community, and were just interested in making money for themselves. “They will now have to pay for their crimes and spend over four years each in prison. If you bring drugs into Surrey, we will pursue you and bring you to justice wherever possible. “If you suspect drug-dealing in your neighbourhood, please report it to us as soon as possible; this intel is a crucial part of us building a complete picture of any criminal activity.”
