Police Update


Dear Residents,

Welcome to the Police Update for the last week.

The message includes burglaries and vehicle thefts reported between the 9th November 2023 to 16th November 2023.

Note – There have been an increased number of reported Keyless Car Thefts in our area over the last week.  Please see the links to our prevention advice for securing your vehicles, included in the Vehicle thefts section of the Update. In addition, advice was included in the October Reigate and Banstead Police Newsletter.

 

 Advice on Fraud (Scams)

Trading Standards officers, Scam Champion volunteers, and the local Police/Volunteers will be attending Gardens Centres to chat with Black Friday shoppers and residents about how to spot and stop scams and frauds.

Burglaries

North

11/11/2023 02:29    Downs Way, Tadworth.      Residential Burglary resulting in a Car Theft.  Method of Entry – Forced entry through the front door.

Stolen: Car Keys and a Car (Porsche).    (PR 45230128219)

 

Central

12/11/2023 Between 07:00 to 09:00    Frenches Road, Redhill.      Residential Burglary.  Method of Entry – Not confirmed at this time.

Stolen: Two Drinks.    (PR 45230130243)

 

South

12/11/2023 12:00 Between 11:40 to 16:00    Ironsbottom, Sidlow.      Residential  Burglary resulting in a Car Theft.  Method of Entry – A forced entry into the shed and ladders removed. Suspect (s) have unsuccessfully tried, using the ladder, to gain access through first floor windows. A forced entry has been gained through a window next to the back door.

Stolen: Car Keys and Car (BMW.    (PR 45230128791)

Vehicle Thefts -       9 Keyless Vehicle Thefts (including 1 attempted), 0 Car Thefts and 0 Motorcycle thefts have been reported in the last  week. Please note that the report shows that 7 Mercedes have taken over the last week.
