Burglary Alert: 

 

Monday 29th April 02:30 off Horsham Rd Forest Green. Attempted burglary of residential garage. Suspicious man was seen near garage in early hours of morning. Nothing appears to have been taken.

 

Friday 26th April 23:00 – Saturday 27th April 02:00 Newdigate Road Beare Green residential burglary, keys stolen, car stolen. 

 

Wednesday 24th April 01:28 Guildford Rd Westcott attempted burglary of barn and garden shed. Locks snapped off. 

 

Suspicious behaviour can include:

An individual trying the door-handles of multiple cars.

A vehicle driving about an area several times.

People deliberately concealing their face when seen.

Movements of industrial/agricultural vehicles at odd times of the day or night.

People on driveways or accessing gardens of houses.

You can help Police to carry out our enquiries by providing:

If you feel safe to challenge someone – Be Polite, Ask if you can help them, ask them what they are doing. Anyone entirely innocent will tell you and provide ID if they are from a Company.

The basis for your suspicions. What are they doing?

A good description of the person(s) you have concerns about. What clothing are they wearing? Are they carrying anything? Skin/Hair colour; Height; Hair Style; Hair Texture; Shape of Eyebrow; Size and Shape of Eye; Shape of Nose; Shape of Mouth and Lips; Chin Clefts; Cheeks (full or sunken); Ear Size and Shape; Wrinkles; Neck and Adam's Apple; Moustache or Beard

The make/model, registration and colour of any vehicle involved. If you can get the registration number of the vehicle write it down or type it into your phone as soon as possible to make sure it is accurate.

The direction of travel of any person or vehicle. Where are they going? Do not put yourself at any risk to obtain information for us. Provide what you can and the Police will make enquiries

If circumstances change, you feel threatened or you witness a crime being committed contact Police immediately by dialling 999.
